Every stitch tells a story.

Every stitch tells a story.

Function. Form. Forever.

The Endeavour apron is created based on carefully defined design principles, where functionality, aesthetics, and durability go hand in hand. Every decision – from materials to color palette – has been made with the goal of crafting an apron that performs in use while standing out visually.

The apron combines classic lines with playful colors and practical details, making it suitable for everyday use. Its design is rooted in a European production model with local processing, ensuring a short supply chain, high quality, and responsible manufacturing.

The result is an apron with character: robust, refined, and built to last – both in function and in expression.

European quality, from thread to design

The Endeavour aprons are carefully designed in Denmark and produced in Portugal with a focus on quality, aesthetics, and long-lasting durability. Every detail has been considered – from the thread to the final stitch.

The cotton yarn is spun and dyed at a local spinning mill in northern Portugal, where traditional techniques are combined with modern dyeing methods to achieve deep, saturated hues and a consistent finish. Assembly and sewing take place near Porto at a textile workshop with more than 30 years of experience producing durable workwear – a place where craftsmanship and precision remain top priorities.

The entire production chain is locally anchored in Europe and based on principles of durability, responsibility, and good design. This approach defines the essence of the Endeavour canvas apron – a carefully considered product, made to be used and built to last.

From Portuguese looms to lasting quality.

The apron is made from heavy-duty, Panama-woven cotton (320 g/m²), combining high durability with natural wrinkle resistance. The fabric is woven from 100% Oeko-Tex® Standard 100-certified cotton with a dense construction (10/10, 88 x 36 threads per inch), giving it a strong and structured appearance.

Weaving and dyeing take place in northern Portugal, in the textile region between Famalicão and Guimarães – renowned for its expertise in high-quality fabrics and responsible production. The apron’s cotton straps are woven at a specialized ribbon mill just 10 minutes from the sewing facility, ensuring a short supply chain, local anchoring, and excellent material control.

Classic design, modern spirit.

Inspired by timeless chef aprons, which for centuries have been an essential part of chefs’ attire, we set out to create a unique apron. Our goal was to design an apron that is functional, practical, and adds life to the daily kitchen routine.

Carefully selected colors bring a playful atmosphere into the kitchen while maintaining a classic aesthetic that radiates calm and elegance. The result is a design that is both safe and lively, celebrating the joys of everyday life.

Thoughtful function – with character.

The apron is crafted from durable, Panama-woven cotton that combines strength, comfort, and an almost wrinkle-free look. It is designed to move with the body and fit comfortably – even during extended use.

The wide cotton straps are soft against the skin, while the adjustable neck strap ensures a personalized fit. On the front, a large two-part pocket provides practical organization, complemented by a smaller chest pocket for essentials you want within easy reach.

With its robust yet playful expression and warm colors, the apron is suited for both professional kitchens and everyday use.

Cared for today, cherished tomorrow.

To preserve the apron’s quality, structure, and durability over time, it is important to follow the recommended washing and care instructions. The aprons are machine-washable at up to 40 °C and should be washed with similar colors. A mild, chemical-free detergent is recommended to protect the fabric’s enzyme-washed surface and extend its lifespan. Bleach should be avoided, as it can damage both colorfastness and fabric quality.

After washing, the apron should be spin-dried and air-dried, as tumble drying may cause shrinkage and loss of shape. To maintain the natural texture of the canvas material, the apron can be ironed at medium heat. For light cleaning, handwashing with natural soap can also be used, provided the apron is thoroughly dried before reuse.

With proper and regular care, the apron will remain hygienic and attractive for many years. Over time, stains may occur, but in most cases they can be treated. The fabric will also develop a natural patina – a visual testament to a hardworking kitchen and an apron in active use.
