The cutting board holder is designed for simple and effortless maintenance. Clean it in warm water with mild soap, and dry it thoroughly before next use.

Over time, light signs of wear will naturally appear as part of the material’s patina. These can easily be reduced with a scouring pad. Gentle treatment of the surface, followed by the application of beeswax and thorough wiping, quickly restores the material’s natural glow.

Organic fiber is produced from reclaimed wood or cultivated timber, which is transformed into wood fibers and further processed into fiber boards through a method similar to paper production. The fibers are bonded with 4% phenolic resin, giving the material exceptional strength and long-lasting durability. The cutting board holder is solid-colored throughout with natural pigments developed by Kremer Pigmente in Germany, ensuring a uniform, deep color and high resistance to discoloration. The colors are tested by TÜV Rheinland laboratories. The holder is also tested by international laboratories and reviewed annually by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. It is FSC®-certified, PFAS-free, and naturally antibacterial with properties comparable to wood and bamboo. The cutting board holder is designed for safe and stable storage. The organic fiber material can be recycled and naturally decomposes over time.
