With regular use, knife marks and scratches will naturally occur, but these can easily be removed using a scouring pad. Lightly scrubbing the surface, followed by the application of beeswax and thorough wiping, will restore the fiber to its natural sheen. Simple, quick, and highly effective.

As the cutting board is made from natural materials, it may absorb moisture and react to heat and long dishwasher cycles – for example ECO programs. Repeated exposure to heat and moisture may cause the board to temporarily warp or bend. This does not affect the material’s integrity or durability.

In most cases, the cutting board will return to its original shape once it has dried completely. The process can be accelerated by turning the board over and allowing it to dry in the opposite direction, with the top side facing down. If necessary, place a lightly damp cloth and some weight on top and leave it overnight. Once fully dry, the board will typically regain its original form and stability.

Twin Boards provide flexibility when several ingredients need to be prepared at the same time, while Medium Board Groove offers a larger work surface and features a practical juice groove that collects liquids from ingredients during preparation and carving. The boards are made from FSC®-certified organic fibre material sourced from responsibly managed forests. The material is durable, naturally antibacterial and gentle on your knives. The boards are solid-coloured throughout in Night Black, heat resistant up to 170°C and dishwasher safe. Four silicone feet ensure that they remain stable during use. The included holder accommodates up to five cutting boards and keeps them organised and within easy reach.

The cutting boards are dishwasher safe, but hand washing is the gentlest way to preserve their surface and colour. The organic fibre material is durable and has naturally antibacterial properties.

The holder can easily be cleaned by hand with soap and water. Dry it thoroughly after cleaning and allow it to dry completely before placing the boards back in the holder.

Over time, the boards will naturally develop signs of use. A light treatment with a scouring pad followed by Board Beeswax can refresh the surface and restore the natural lustre of the fibre material.
