This high-performance steel ensures exceptional strength, durability, and sharpness. The blade is hand-sharpened and polished, featuring 67 layers of Damascus-patterned steel. It is hardened at over 1000°C and cooled to below -180°C, resulting in a hardness of 60-61 HRC – a razor-sharp, lightweight, and powerful tool.

Gold-standard sharpness: The Discovery Pro series is forged from VG10 steel, combining both precision and craftsmanship. "VG" stands for "V Gold," a testament to its unmatched quality. Handle – but much more than that.

Handle: The FSC-certified pakka wood makes a significant difference as it's resistant to heat and distortion. Pakka wood is water-resistant, providing stable control over the knife. It consists of compressed wood fibers treated with resin. The handle is ergonomically designed, ensuring a comfortable grip.

Keep out of the dishwasher.

We recommend: Hand washing this knife since it's crafted from the finest VG10 Japanese steel. Use a ceramic honing rod frequently to maintain sharpness. Proper storage and occasional oiling of the handle are advisable.
